Jessica and Andy were married on a chilly fall day over Thanksgiving weekend one year ago. If there is one thing we have learned over these last few years of capturing weddings, it is to be prepared for the weather to not cooperate and to be flexible. We made a minor adjustment in our bridal photo plans, stopping for a quick cup of coffee at the Good Earth Cafe in St., Albert. This gave everyone a chance to warm up and even provided us with some photo opportunities. At the end of the day, you are marrying your best friend and the rest is just icing on the cake. We can capture beautiful images where ever we go!
Their ceremony took place at St Charles Parish, a gorgeous Church on the outskirts of St Albert. It had an amazing walk-way filled with beautiful stained glass. Jessica shared an emotional first look with her Dad that had me wiping tears away as I was capturing their heart-warming moment. First looks with parents are becoming more popular and I totally approve! We are always so focused on the bride and groom, it is nice to take a moment with your parents and soak it all in!
We finished the evening at the Kinsmen Club of St Albert and the venue looked stunning! The colors, decor, up-lighting, (basically everything!), complimented each other so well, creating a magical reception look.. Dinner, catered by Cena Catering, was incredibly delicious and then we laughed (and cried!) our way through the speeches. We finished off the night with lots of dancing and one final "magical" photo.
Congratulations Jessica and Andy! We wish you (and Mya!) a lifetime of happiness, love, and laughter! Thanks you for inviting us to capture this amazing day!
