Amber & Mark were married on a crisp, spring day in April at the Prairie Garden and Greenhouses. Their beautiful, rustic greenhouse wedding definitely made it feel like spring was here and was a great way to start our 2017 wedding season! Deep greens, purples, and blues accented by the bright hanging petunia's provided by PG&G really brought the greenhouse alive and made us feel like we were in an oasis paradise - and can we talk about how beautiful that flower arch is?!
As the weather cooperated with a unseasonably warm day, we ventured outside for a portion of the bridal portraits (for M&A's e-session we enjoyed a balmy -15° winter day). PG&G is jam-packed with great spots for photos and we were excited to be able to adventure around such a unique venue.
While we waited for dinner, a MASSIVE (literally) game of Jenga had started and fun was had by all! Dinner was catered by PG&G and was absolutely delicious. Even though the growing season was just starting, a majority of what we ate was grown at PG&G. We love that farm-to-table is becoming a popular option for wedding venues! We are BIG supporters of growing your own fruits and veggies. After dinner we were treated to some really heartfelt and funny speeches, an EPIC dance party, and a sparkler send-off.
Congratulations Amber & Mark and thank you so much for inviting us to document your special day! You made us feel like we were a part of your family. It was so great getting to know you and can't wait until your little one is born :)
